Spring and Christmas Fairs

St Helen's has traditionally held both a Spring Fair and an Autumn or Christmas Fair.  These were formerly held in the Parish Hall on Mansfield Road, but in recent years, and particularly since the completion of St Helen's Centre in 2011, it has become usual to hold these in church.  Some recent fairs have been 'themed', including Victorian and Edwardian Markets.  The fairs provide a good opportunity for outreach, with many from outside the church attending in the course of the day, as well as for fellowship between church members.  They also raise money, either towards church projects and general expenses or for good causes as designated by the Parochial Church Council.
